Tóm tắt

Nghiên cứu này nhằm phân tích tác động của yếu tố chất lượng thể chế và các yếu tố kinh tế đến FDI của Hàn Quốc vào 9 nước thành viên khối ASEAN trong giai đoạn 2002–2017. Dựa trên mô hình trọng lực, phân tích thực nghiệm đã chỉ ra các chỉ số thành phần của chất lượng thể chế, bao gồm: Tuân thủ luật pháp, hiệu quả chính phủ, chất lượng lập pháp và kiểm soát tham nhũng có tác động tích cực đến FDI của Hàn Quốc vào khu vực này. Sử dụng kỹ thuật phân tích thành phần chính, kết quả nghiên cứu khẳng định FDI của Hàn Quốc bị thu hút bởi yếu tố chất lượng thể chế của ASEAN. Ngoài ra, nghiên cứu cũng cho thấy bằng chứng tác động tích cực của quy mô thị trường, tỷ lệ lạm phát của các nước ASEAN và lợi ích của Hiệp định về Đầu tư, bên cạnh tác động tiêu cực của chất lượng cơ sở hạ tầng của ASEAN đến FDI của Hàn Quốc. Các bằng chứng thực nghiệm này là cơ sở đề xuất các giải pháp thu hút nguồn vốn đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài đứng trên góc độ các quốc gia đang phát triển.
