Đa dạng hóa sinh kế và nâng cao thu nhập người nông dân ở Việt Nam: Bằng chứng thực nghiệm

Nghiên cứu này xem xét cách thức đa dạng hóa sinh kế định hình thu nhập hộ gia đình nông thôn tại thị xã Bình Minh, Việt Nam, sử dụng dữ liệu bảng từ 182 hộ gia đình (HGĐ) từ năm 2020 đến năm 2024 (871 quan sát). Áp dụng các phương pháp thống kê khác nhau để giải quyết vấn đề nội sinh, kết quả cho thấy đa dạng hóa làm tăng đáng kể thu nhập nông nghiệp và phi nông nghiệp. Hơn nữa, nghiên cứu cho thấy rằng tiếp cận tín dụng khuếch đại tác động tích cực của đa dạng hóa chỉ đối với thu nhập phi nông nghiệp, trong khi đa dạng hóa làm giảm thiểu tác động tiêu cực của tổn thất do thiên tai chỉ đối với thu nhập nông nghiệp. Những phát hiện này làm nổi bật vai trò kép của đa dạng hóa như một chiến lược phục hồi và tích lũy, được định hình bởi mức thu nhập, khả năng tiếp cận tín dụng và mức độ rủi ro môi trường. Dựa trên những kết quả này, nghiên cứu đưa ra một số hàm ý chính sách nhằm hướng đến các HGĐ có thu nhập thấp và dễ bị tổn thương trước biến đổi khí hậu, mở rộng khả năng tiếp cận tài chính và tích hợp đa dạng hóa vào các chiến lược phát triển nông thôn và thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu.
