Do tác động nghiêm trọng của đại dịch Covid-19, các chương trình học tập phải chuyển sang hình thức trực tuyến. Nghiên cứu này cung cấp một mô hình phân tích hệ thống tác động của các thành phần của động lực bao gồm: Sự thuận tiện, giải trí, chia sẻ kinh nghiệm, tìm kiếm thông tin, và giao tiếp xã hội thông qua ứng dụng thuyết sử dụng và thỏa mãn (U&G) trong việc dự báo sự hài lòng và ý định tiếp tục học trực tuyến của sinh viên. Sử dụng mẫu khảo sát gồm 681 sinh viên học trực tuyến, kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy tác động tích cực của động lực lên ý định tiếp tục học trực tuyến thông qua sự hài lòng của sinh viên. Phát hiện này giúp các nhà quản trị lĩnh vực giáo dục phát triển các chiến lược liên quan để phản ứng hiệu quả với những bất ổn và để phát triển bền vững. Theo đó, nghiên cứu này đề xuất một vài đóng góp để nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo trực tuyến trong thời kỳ đại dịch Covid-19.
