Hành vi tự nguyện và sự tỉnh giác của nhân viên ngày càng đóng vai trò quan trọng đối với sự thành công của các tổ chức dịch vụ. Nghiên cứu này nhằm mục đích xây dựng mô hình lý thuyết và các giả thuyết nghiên cứu giải thích mối quan hệ giữa sự tỉnh giác và các hành vi tự nguyện trong việc nâng cao kết quả làm việc của nhân viên. Kết quả khảo sát nhân viên dịch vụ tuyến trước của một ngân hàng lớn ở Việt Nam[1] khẳng định sự tỉnh giác có tác động tích cực đến hành vi tự nguyện phục vụ tổ chức và hành vi tự nguyện phục vụ khách hàng. Hơn nữa, các hành vi tự nguyện này không chỉ ảnh hưởng tích cực đến kết quả làm việc của nhân viên mà còn là trung gian tác động của sự tỉnh giác lên kết quả làm việc của nhân viên. Nghiên cứu đưa ra một số hàm ý về chính sách và giải pháp cho các doanh nghiệp dịch vụ ở Việt Nam nói chung và tổ chức ngân hàng nói riêng trong việc nâng cao mức độ tỉnh giác cũng như khuyến khích các hành vi tự nguyện của nhân viên, từ đó góp phần nâng cao kết quả làm việc của họ.
