Tác động của mức độ quan tâm của nhà đầu tư tới thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam

Nghiên cứu này đánh giá ảnh hưởng của mức độ quan tâm của nhà đầu tư đến thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam trên hai khía cạnh là mức độ thanh khoản và mức độ biến động tỷ suất sinh lời của cổ phiếu. Cụ thể, mức độ quan tâm của nhà đầu tư được định lượng thông qua tần suất tìm kiếm trực tuyến mã cổ phiếu từ công cụ thống kê Google Trends đối với thị trường chứng khoán nói chung và tới mỗi mã cổ phiếu. Đánh giá thực nghiệm đối với mười mã cổ phiếu có giá trị vốn hoá cao nhất thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam trong giai đoạn từ 1/2018 tới 2/2023, kết quả cho thấy mức độ quan tâm của nhà đầu tư tới mỗi cổ phiếu cá biệt làm gia tăng khả năng thanh khoản và giảm mức độ biến động tỷ suất sinh lời. Ngược lại, mức độ quan tâm của nhà đầu tư tới chỉ số thị trường chung làm giảm mức độ thanh khoản của mỗi cổ phiếu riêng biệt nhưng làm tăng biến động của tỷ lệ sinh lời cổ phiếu. Điều này phù hợp với tính chất của thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam với đa số nhà đầu tư cá nhân.
