COVID-19 tạo ra một cuộc khủng hoảng toàn cầu chưa từng có tiền lệ. Tác động tiêu cực của đại dịch này đến các doanh nghiệp và các chuỗi cung ứng đã được đề cập rộng rãi. Theo đó, việc tái cấu trúc chuỗi cung ứng và doanh nghiệp sau COVID-19 ngày càng thu hút sự quan tâm của các doanh nghiệp và các nhà nghiên cứu. Tuy nhiên, các nghiên cứu định lượng về vấn đề này chưa nhiều. Dựa trên lý thuyết phục hồi chuỗi cung ứng và lý thuyết năng lực động, nghiên cứu này thực nghiệm cách các công ty giao nhận vận tải hàng xuất nhập khẩu trong chuỗi cung ứng vận tải cấu trúc lại doanh nghiệp để trở nên linh hoạt và cạnh tranh hơn. Thông qua phân tích mô hình cấu trúc tuyến tính dữ liệu từ 504 quản lý cấp cao và xem xét các chiến lược phản ứng của các công ty giao nhận vận tải hàng xuất nhập khẩu bằng phần mềm SmartPLS, nghiên cứu xác định cách thức một công ty ngành logistics có thể chống chịu và vượt qua đại dịch để phát triển. Phát hiện này đóng góp vào các lý thuyết liên quan, đặc biệt là lý thuyết phục hồi chuỗi cung ứng sau khủng hoảng, thực tiễn và các mục tiêu phát triển bền vững của các công ty giao nhận vận tải khi đối mặt với các khủng hoảng trong tương lai.
