Hợp đồng nhà thầu với chính phủ và khả năng tồn tại của doanh nghiệp trong đại dịch COVID-19

Tóm tắt

Sử dụng các bộ dữ liệu khảo sát từ 21 quốc gia của World Bank về doanh nghiệp trước và trong đại dịch COVID-19, bài viết nghiên cứu ảnh hưởng của hợp đồng nhà thầu với chính phủ đến khả năng tồn tại của doanh nghiệp. Kết quả chỉ ra rằng doanh nghiệp có hợp đồng nhà thầu với chính phủ có xác suất mở cửa sau đại dịch cao hơn. Hơn thế nữa, hỗ trợ của chính phủ có vai trò điều tiết mối quan hệ trên. Các doanh nghiệp có hợp đồng nhà thầu với chính phủ thì có cơ hội nhận được hỗ trợ từ chính phủ cao hơn và nhờ đó có khả năng tồn tại qua đại dịch cao hơn. Nhóm nghiên cứu đưa ra một số thảo luận về ý nghĩa của kết quả nghiên cứu này đối với hoạt động quản trị và chiến lược trong doanh nghiệp.
