Tóm tắt

Sa lầy trong thua lỗ (SLTL) là thiên lệch hành vi gây ra tác động tiêu cực cho nhà đầu tư. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này nhằm tìm hiểu hiện tượng SLTL và cơ chế tác động của hiện tượng này. Sử dụng thiết kế thí nghiệm với các tình huống đầu tư giả định cho mẫu nghiên cứu với 716 cá nhân ở Việt Nam, nhóm tác giả đo lường tác động của các thiên lệch hành vi như e ngại hối tiếc, e ngại mất mát, hiệu ứng sở hữu, và thái độ chấp nhận rủi ro đến SLTL. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy những cá nhân có mức độ ngại hối tiếc cao và có thái độ chấp nhận rủi ro cao thường bộc lộ hành vi SLTL. Tuy nhiên, kết quả nghiên cứu không tìm thấy bằng chứng cho thấy hiệu ứng sở hữu có ảnh hưởng đến SLTL của nhà đầu tư. Nghiên cứu đóng góp cho các nghiên cứu về SLTL bằng cách đề xuất sử dụng chính các yếu tố tâm lý, các lệch lạc hành vi như là công cụ giảm thiểu hiện tượng SLTL của nhà đầu tư.
