Nghiên cứu này kiểm tra tác động của đổi mới dịch vụ và hành vi cùng tạo ra giá trị đến trải nghiệm của khách hàng (trải nghiệm cảm xúc, hạnh phúc, sự ghi nhớ). Sử dụng mô hình phương trình cấu trúc SEM, nghiên cứu đã kiểm tra mô hình đề xuất với thiết kế cắt ngang bằng cách tiến hành phân tích mẫu 335 khách du lịch. Các phát hiện cho thấy rằng đổi mới dịch vụ ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến hành vi cùng tạo ra giá trị, trải nghiệm cảm xúc (niềm vui và sự hưng phấn), và hạnh phúc của khách hàng. Kết quả tiếp tục tiết lộ ảnh hưởng tích cực của hành vi cùng tạo ra giá trị đến trải nghiệm cảm xúc và sự ghi nhớ trải nghiệm. Đặc biệt, cùng tạo ra giá trị của khách hàng ảnh hưởng trực tiếp tích cực đến hạnh phúc của khách hàng – đây là phát hiện khá thú vị. Ngoài ra, trải nghiệm cảm xúc của khách hàng có tác động tích cực đến cả hạnh phúc và sự ghi nhớ. Hơn nữa, hạnh phúc của khách hàng có liên kết tích cực đến sự ghi nhớ trải nghiệm của họ. Các đóng góp về mặt học thuật và hàm ý quản trị của các kết quả này đối với ngành tiếp thị và du lịch sẽ được thảo luận.
