Phân tích tác động của sự kiện chiến tranh Nga – Ukraine đến thị trường chứng khoán ASEAN-6

Bài báo sử dụng dữ liệu hàng ngày của các nước ASEAN-6 để phân tích tác động của sự kiện Nga xung đột với Ukraine ngày 24 tháng 2 năm 2022 đến thị trường chứng khoán của các quốc gia này. Phương pháp phân tích sự kiện với các khung cửa sổ sự kiện [-15; 15] được áp dụng với các kiểm định Patell, kiểm định Patell hiệu chỉnh, và kiểm định Boehmer. Kết quả kiểm định chung trên toàn khu vực cho thấy thị trường ASEAN có phản ứng khi có sự kiện chiến tranh Nga – Ukraine. Sự sụt giảm của thị trường ngay trong ngày sự kiện cho thấy thị trường chứng khoán phản ứng tiêu cực với sự kiện và sự phản ứng này còn kéo dài ít nhất đến 15 ngày sau sự kiện. Tuy nhiên, sự tác động của sự kiện này đến từng quốc gia không giống nhau. Malaysia, Singapore và Philippines là có phản ứng rõ rệt nhất với sự kiện này. Kết quả nghiên cứu của bài báo cũng có những hàm ý nhất định đối với nhà đầu tư, khi mà các xung đột quân sự có thể tác động đến thị trường tài chính thì nhà đầu tư cần hiểu rõ tác động của sự kiện này để đưa ra quyết định đầu tư hợp lý, hoặc dựa trên những kinh nghiệm này để lập kế hoạch dự phòng rủi ro cho những diễn biến trong tương lai
